Amy & Tim's Summer Wedding at The Deck in London - a gorgeous riverside deck venue! - Anneli Marinovich Destination Wedding and Portrait Photography

Amy & Tim’s wedding was always going to be a very informal, fun, celebration. With the ceremony taking place at St Martin in the Fields in Trafalgar Square, the rest of the day was planned to be as informal as possible, with a lovely stroll to the venue included in the itinerary! Amy looked absolutely gorgeous in her Pascal dress by Stephanie Allin and Tim made a very dashing groom in his Scottish kilt. After the ceremony all 75 guests, along with Amy & Tim, made their way to Trafalgar Square, where we did the group photos – a brilliant setting for group photos and the spray from the fountains kept us refreshed in the summer sun! Big thanks to Tim’s ushers & best man who did a cracking job clearing some space for us amongst the millions of tourists! We then started the walk from Trafalgar Square down to the river. The reception was taking place at The Deck at The National Theatre on South Bank and Amy & Tim were very excited about the walk which took us across Hungerford Bridge in crocodile formation! I have to say – this is the most fun I’ve ever had on the way to a wedding reception and we got some great photos of Amy, Tim and their guests, walking through the streets of London to the sound of car horns and people passing by congratulating the happy couple.

The Deck made a fantastic wedding reception venue, overlooking the Thames with St Pauls, the Oxo Tower and The Gherkin in the distance. Sipping champagne in the sunshine all afternoon, followed by a barbeque is definitely my idea of a fantastic wedding reception!
