Katy & Andrew’s outdoor garden party wedding at the Malt House – The Olde Bell in Hurley.

Katy & Andrew’s relaxed countryside wedding took place at The Malt House (18th Century) in Hurley, Berkshire, which is owned and managed by The Olde Bell Inn next door (11th Century) . This was the perfect venue for their rustic and intimate wedding & reception. Upon arrival, guests relaxed in the sunshine with a drink in the garden at The Olde Bell next door, while Katy got ready with her mum, sister & niece upstairs in The Malt House. Katy had arranged a little surprise for Andrew in the form of a harpist (who Andrew and his mum saw at the open day and loved), to play some of Katy’s favourite songs from The Cure & Roxy Music and she walked down the aisle to “Love Song” by The Cure – a really nice touch! Decorations included gorgeous flowers & swan vases from Scarlet & Violet, beautiful table numbers handmade by Katy’s mum & decorated with sea shells as well as the cutest hand-iced biscuits I’ve ever seen from Biscuiteers on the tables for guests to nibble on. Later on in the evening Katy & Andrew left a message box in the Music Room where guests could write little messages on pink heart shape doilies for Katy & Andrew to read later.

Katy looked absolutely gorgeous in her “Opera” wedding gown by Jenny Packham and her little niece Martha made a beautiful bridesmaid. Katy’s look was soft and romantic, but her Miu Miu Leopard Print Calf Hair Pumps added a bit of naughtiness & fun to the look, which according to her friends, was very “Katy”! I really enjoyed sharing the day with them. It was a relaxed gathering to celebrate their marriage with their families & guests and listening to the speeches and all the lovely things their friends had to say about them as a couple, I know they will live happily ever after! You can see their loved up Engagement Shoot in Regents Park from earlier this year, here.

Here are a few of my favourites from their wedding day – the couple photos in the vegetable garden next door at The Olde Bell Inn were a definite highlight, even more so, because Andrew actually loves gardening!

Enjoy! And if you’re stopping by, please leave some love for Katy & Andrew’s perfect day!
