A visit to the Upper Street London Studio – Bridal Shoe Design heaven.

I popped into the Upper Street London Studio to meet Lisa (Upper Street’s amazing Marketing Manager) last week and to take a few photos of their gorgeous selection of hand-made sample shoes. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Upper Street – they are essentially your go-to “Dream Shoe Fairy Godmothers”, inspiring & helping women to design that hand-made, unique pair of shoes you have always wanted. Whether it’s a spectacular pair of bridal shoes for your wedding day or a pair of fabulous “girl about town” heels you just can’t seem to find in any shoe shop, the team at Upper Street is there to make your shoe dreams come true!

One of my beautiful brides, Ali Rhodes who married her love Charles last May in London (see the wedding here, or read the feature on Love My Dress here), used Upper Street to design her own pair of dream bridal shoes and had them inscribed with her wedding date. Here she is, rocking her silver peep-toe heels:

Having met Lisa in the studio and having seen the fantastic quality of their shoes for myself, I would definitely encourage brides who can’t seem to find the bridal shoes they’ve always been dreaming of, to visit their shoe design idea section / on their website or to book a private appointment at their studio to try on some samples and get an idea of what it is you would like to design for your special day. Here is a small selection of the sample shoes they have in the studio, ranging from two-tone peep-toe, all the way through to fun tartan ballet pumps.

First a few bridal shoe design ideas: The two-tone snakeskin heels (3rd photo) are limited edition and perfect for a wedding or any special occasion!

Love the last pair above – you can actually bend the indivdual flower petals and adjust them the way you want them to look!

Below are a few other colours, styles and ideas – aren’t the snakeskin pointed courts just gorgeous?
