June was a little bit wet…but luckily the rain held off for Jen & Jeremy’s beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. I love shooting outdoor weddings and Jen & Jeremy’s wedding was the very first outdoor wedding ceremony at Bittenham Springs. I have to say I really enjoyed shooting at this relaxed wedding venue – gorgeous setting in the heart of the Cotswolds and owners Emma & Steve were fantastic on the day. I’ve known Jen for a few years now and it was really lovely being able to photograph and share in her and Jeremy’s wonderful wedding day.
I met up with Jeremy & the guys at The Wild Duck Inn just down the road from Bittenham Springs, before strolling back to the venue for some details shots. Jen explained their wedding day theme to me as “Italian Elegance” – a relaxed al fresco celebration of their shared love for all things Italian, including home-made “Jen & Jeremy” branded gelato for dessert – super yummy and a great idea. The rain set in later in the afternoon which meant the planned duck race had to be cancelled, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits and the happy couple & their guests partied on!
Congrats again Jen & Jeremy, I’m really happy to hear that you love your photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Enjoy married life, it rocks!
