Back in March (which seems like ages ago!) the very lovely Gabi from Something Blue PR invited me to collaborate on a styled shoot she was arranging on behalf of The George in Rye. Now if you don’t know The George / haven’t been to stay there, stop reading this right now and book a weekend away there! :-) It is one of the cosiest and prettiest UK hotels (with amazing food & cocktails) I have ever stayed in and is located in the gorgeous historic village of Rye, only 10 minutes from the beach! What’s not to love? Check out the images from my stay there with Louise from B.loved, here.
So on a snowy day in March, I travelled down to Rye to shoot the beautiful wedding scenes Tiggy from Idyllic Days had created. A big thank you to Gabi for involving me in the shoot and to Rock My Wedding for featuring some images from the shoot (click here to view the feature).
The list of full suppliers follows at the end of the post.
Scene 1: Wedding tables styled by Idyllic Days to showcase a dusky vintage look in the gorgeous Ballroom, complementing the murals perfectly. This look is perfect if you would like to have elegant, vintage touches as part of your wedding styling. (Flowers by Tiggy from Tiggy Johnson Floral Design).
Scene 2: One long, gorgeous wedding table styled by Idyllic Days to showcase a luxurious and glamorous look for an intimate wedding reception in The Benson Room.
Scene 3: Wedding tables styled by Idyllic Days with a yellow, blue and gold look in the gorgeous Ballroom. (Flowers by Kat from Florist in the Forist).
In addition to The George feature on Rock My Wedding, images from the shoot has also been featured in the latest issue of Wedding Venues & Services:
