Tessa & Daniel’s relaxed farm wedding.

I have known Tess for quite a few years and when she emailed me last year to tell me that Daniel asked her to be his wife and that they wanted me to shoot the wedding, well, I was over the moon! Tess & Daniel are one of those couples you want to hang out with…all the time. I spent a lovely Sunday morning in Shere with them for their Engagement Shoot and their wedding took place in Cranleigh, with the reception on Tessa’s aunt & uncle’s farm a short drive away. What I loved most about the day, was that it was uber relaxed. The wedding was always going to have a slight ‘country’ feel with Tess having grown up on Ivelle Farm where she also spent many a weekend with Daniel. I also loved how they incorporated Tess’ love for everything (and anything) Elvis into the wedding (in a very subtle way). She had a gorgeous pair of blue suede wedding shoes (as well as a second white pair), the table names were named after Elvis songs and they hired an Elvis impersonator (he was incredible) to perform for their guests in the evening. Tessa’s bridesmaid Claire (a previous bride of mine) designed all the wedding flower arrangements and bouquets and it complemented the feel of the day perfectly!

Tess & Daniel thanks again for having me there on one of the most important days of your lives. Congrats Mr & Mrs May, keep that ‘burning love’…burning! :-)
