In April this year I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the very first luxury Moda e Arte Fashion & Fine Art Inspired Wedding Photography Workshop hosted by Sandra Aberg, KT Merry, Jannie Baltzer and Joy Proctor at Hotel Caruso, in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The workshop, focusing on destination wedding photography, styling and bridal fashion photography was a wonderful experience and I met so many amazing photographers from all over the world – people who will inspire me and my business for many years to come. Two of my fellow attendees were photographers Rui & Cristiana based in Portugal, creating beautiful memories for their couples through their wedding photography; Love is my Favorite Color. Through the course of the week, the very talented Joy styled various scenes for us to shoot around the hotel and the rustic village of Ravello overlooking the Amalfi Coast and I will be sharing some of those images in the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime, I’d love to share this impromptu romantic couple shoot with Rui & Cristiana, shot right outside our gorgeous Hotel Caruso, in the Piazza San Giovanni Del Toro, right after our final styled shoot ended on our last day in Ravello. We only had a little while to shoot before it started raining, but Cristiana really wanted some photos taken of her in a gorgeous dress of her mother’s, which is over 40 years old, so we made it happen! :-)
