Looking through these images, I realise how fast the year has flown by, or at least it feels that way to me! Kriszta & Ray had their engagement shoot in London back in July, when the Festival of Love was taking place on the South Bank of the Thames. South Bank is one of my favourite spots to hang out in Summer. Along with Embankment across the river, it gives you a relaxed & vibrant London backdrop without being overly “touristy” (if you know where to go). We met outside Temple station and then strolled along the river, across Waterloo Bridge to the festival, where had lots of colourful & fun backdrops (totally my thing), including a man-made beach – brilliant.
After enjoying a well deserved Pimms on a rooftop garden overlooking the river we ended off beneath the London Eye, with gorgeous golden hour light as a backdrop (also my thing). I’m shooting Kriszta & Ray’s wedding in just a few short weeks at Great Fosters in Surrey and it will be my last wedding for 2014! I honestly can’t believe it. After the wonderful whirlwind that was 2014, I’m excited about 2015 and capturing more lovely couples like these two.
