I kicked off 2015 with this wonderfully refreshing bridal editorial for B.LOVED. The concept for the shoot was ‘Spring Style Tribe’ and being a little bit obsessed with geometrics, this shoot was right up my street! The team created exclusive content for B.LOVED, showcasing the talents of several wedding & lifestyle suppliers. The shoot took place at the Louise Blouin Foundation in West London, which became a blank canvas for Eagle Eyed Bride to create the colourful tribal & Aztec inspired backdrops you see throughout the shoot.
If you’re a contemporary bride looking for geometric wedding inspiration and tribal details, you have come to the right place. Stylist Louise, explains the thinking behind the colour palette for the shoot: “We picked Toasted Almond, Custard and Marsala as our base palette and added brighter shades of Tangerine, Lucite Green and Strawberry Ice – proving you don’t have to stick to the traditional two or three-colour palette! Mix it up with neutral shades and pops of colour to make your colours really sing!”
This editorial really shows brides how to incorporate colour into their wedding day in a fun & refreshing way, without going overboard. It also gives brides & bridesmaids ideas on how to use modern jewellery & interesting hair and make up to create a more contemporary wedding day look. I especially loved the use of a long golden necklace, to accentuate the low cut back on one of the Maids to Measure bridesmaids dresses. Incredible cake design by Olofson Design introduced a refreshingly different view on the traditional wedding cake and Blue Sky Flowers created bouquets & a centerpiece with texture & a slightly bohemian feel which complemented the overall look perfectly.
