Nina & David tied the knot on a sunny Spring day in London and had their wedding reception at Dartmouth House in Mayfair. London weddings are always a pleasure to shoot. I love the buzz in the city and the fact that you are spoilt for choice in terms of interesting backdrops for photos.
The ceremony was held at St George’s Church on Hanover Square in Mayfair. This has to be one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever shot in with an abundance of natural light – which is always helpful! Nina arrived with her father and was led down the aisle by her maid of honour and sweet flower girls. Afterwards, their guests who had traveled from all over the world, were taken on a Routemaster bus tour of London, while we explored Mayfair and Green Park for Nina & David’s couple portraits.
When we arrived at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, cocktail hour was in full swing with fabulous entertainment by professional violinist Andrew Hubbard, champagne and scrumptious canapes in the courtyard. The Long Drawing Room upstairs had been styled to perfection for the wedding breakfast, featuring gorgeous blooms and the pretty buttercream wedding cake by My Little Cake Tin.
Nina & David, thank you again for inviting me to be part of your day. It was a pleasure to capture it all for you and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world.
