Caroline & George tied the knot at The Olde Bell, Hurley at the end of last month and I had the pleasure of capturing it all for them. The day was filled with special touches and incredible styling by Revival Rooms. I’ve shot at The Olde Bell a few times and it never disappoints. Hurley is such a picturesque little village – it really does look a bit like a film set. The gorgeous garden at the Malt House, were in full bloom and we were spoilt for choice when it came to locations for their couple portraits.
I love a good country style wedding and Caroline & George’s relaxed day, was right up my street. Caroline’s bridal preparations took place in the Garden Room at The Malt House while George and some of the guests enjoyed the fabulous weather in the beer garden at The Olde Bell. The ceremony took place in the tithe barn across the street, beautifully styled by Steph and the team from Revival Rooms. After the ceremony, guests followed Caroline & George across the road to the Malt House where canapes & champagne were served to the jazzy sounds of Dapper Dudes.
The wedding breakfast took place back in the tithe barn. I loved the abundance of flowers and candles on the tables and Caroline & George chose a tennis themed table plan & table names – a little nod to George’s family being huge tennis fans and with the start of Wimbledon only a few days away, the theme was perfect!
