Back in May, Wayne and I jetted off to Naples, hired a car and drove to the Sorrento Coast to shoot a destination wedding at Villa Eliana (on the blog next week). Having been to the Amalfi Coast before, it was lovely to experience the Sorrento Coast this time. Although similar, it has it’s own unique charm. Keep your eyes peeled for some Sorrento travel photography on the blog soon.

 

We had a couple of days before the wedding so decided to make our way back to Positano – one of my favourite little towns on the Amalfi Coast. If you love delicious wine & authentic Italian cooking, you’ll love it there. From Positano, Ravello & Amalfi are just a stone’s throw away, so it’s worth spending at least a week in the area, so you can explore the neighbouring towns and perhaps hop on a boat / ferry to the island of Capri.  Click here to see the gorgeous styled couple shoot I did in Ravello back in 2014 and here to see other couple shoots from all over the world, including Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Malta, USA and France.

 

I’ve had my heart set on doing a couple shoot in Positano since visiting for the first time back in 2014 (click here for travel photography from that trip), so I decided to make it happen! Jen & Vin live in Washington DC and it was sheer luck that we happened to be in Positano at the same time. We met up just before sunset at Hotel Le Sirenuse, boasting gorgeous views over Positano and then strolled down to the beach from there.
