Earlier this year I had the pleasure of doing London personal branding photography for floral creative genius Jodie Vigor. She is the gorgeous face behind Boutique Blooms, a Surrey based floral design & styling hub. She is also the founder & creator of Cupid Collars, silk flower dog collars – a must have for pooches at weddings. We met at a wedding industry networking event many years ago, and I have watched her business(es) go from strength to strength. We’ve become good friends and worked together many times, so I couldn’t wait to do this session for her.
Staying true to her brand:
Jodie wanted to create images which reflect her brand values. Laid back luxury, infused with her vibrant personality and unique sense of style. Her clients are brides looking for sophisticated floral design with a touch of low key luxury.
Having been commissioned for website photography for Boutique Blooms and Cupid Collars before, I was excited to work with Jodie again. We have also had several styled shoots published (Holly Golightly Hot Pink at Nonsuch Mansion, Peach Ombre at Gaynes Park, French Fairytale in France, Let’s go fly a kite editorial for You & Your Wedding Magazine) in the past, including a gorgeous wedding at Millbridge Court.
Inspired by Columbia Road Flower Market:
Before the session, Jodie sent me her moodboard. It included vibrant colours, textures and gorgeous outfit inspiration. A lover of flowers (needless to say) and pops of colour, we chose Columbia Road Flower Market where I could get candid photos of Jodie wandering through the market, buying fresh flowers and enjoying a coffee. The second setting was a luxurious central London hotel, the perfect spot for meeting clients in a relaxed setting.
As always, I really enjoy the creative process involved in personal branding photography. I’m happy that Jodie is satisfied with her images, which you can now see on her Instagram, Facebook and website.
