[...] One inspiring story Anneli told me was that she is now securing more bookings for destination and international weddings. For those of you that know me, this set off sparklers in my head as my dream is to shoot weddings in France & Italy (as well as the beautiful UK). So I asked her how. She made it seem so easy! She set up shoots in France and Portugal in addition to her gorgeous work from South Africa, got in touch with local stylists to collaborate with to make sure the shoots looked great, and booked a flight. That’s pretty much it. Regardless of details, the point is, she wanted this to happen, so she made it happen. She didn’t wait around for the stylist to find her on twitter. She didn’t wait until someone else offered her the chance to shoot in France. She made these opportunities herself. And no, for those of you that are asking, it didn’t cost a lot. At all. Love these two! Such a cute couple! André photographed my wedding back in May and I feel blessed to have had him by our side on that special day. Sofia is so gentle and fun to be with! They are truly a match made in heaven!
