When Claire and I spoke on the phone for the first time last year, I had a smile on my face during the whole conversation….literally! Listening to their ideas for the big day and having a giggle together over the excitement of getting married, I realised very quickly that a lot of thought and attention to detail would be going into their wedding! Claire & Andrè have travelled all over the world together and their passion for adventure & fun really shines through when you meet them for the first time. Claire suggested we kick off the Engagement Shoot with a picnic and Richmond Park was the perfect setting. Add scrumptious snacks – mini heartshaped cupcakes (which she baked & decorated herself), champagne, tea in vintage tea cups & jam sandwiches, and we were all set! Andrè added some ‘muscle’ to the shoot by bringing his rugby ball along! Being a serious rugby player himself, this added some action to the shoot, plus, getting shots of Andrè trying to wrestle the ball from Claire’s iron grip, was hilarious!

It was such a pleasure to photograph these two gorgeous lovebirds – they are so bubbly, full of beans and head over heels in love and I can’t wait to see them again on their wedding day! When I was putting together a little slideshow of the Engagement Shoot, I found the perfect song: Mix ourselves together by Vekstar! Here it is:
