To say that I enjoyed shooting Harshna & Francois’ wedding, is serious understatement. Being one of the most fun loving, relaxed couples I have ever met, their wedding day was filled with lots of laughter, barrels of happiness & joy and so much love. We had a great afternoon together doing their Engagement Shoot at Leeds Castle back in July and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding.
Gaynes Park – an award winning, contemporary barn wedding venue in Epping was the perfect setting for Harshna & Francois relaxed & rustic country wedding celebration and their ceremony in The Orangery was followed by the wedding breakfast in the beautiful Mill Barn, where they had decorated the tables with beautiful flowers, lots of candles & important dates from their relationship so far (including their wedding date) as the table names. We were spoilt for choice when it came to the couple portraits – making the most of Gaynes Park’s gorgeous Walled Garden & the fields around the venue – perfect for a rustic country wedding!
Harshna & Francois, thanks again for inviting me to share your day with you and your loved ones. I count myself very lucky to have been able to meet you and spend a little time with you. Stay as happy in love & sweet as you are!
A big thank you to Natalie & the team at Gaynes Park for looking after me on the day & being so lovely to work with! Here are a few of my favourites from the day:
I love the shot above – ecstatic bride Harshna smiling at her dashing groom and soon-to-be husband Francois!
Nothing beats the ‘butterflies in your tummy’ feeling during the moments leading up to “I do..”
The wedding paparazzi lining up for some shots of the happy couple!
Seriously? How cute are these two?!
I loved Francois’ knitted tie which he found after a long hard search for the perfect wedding tie!
The Mill Barn was decorated beautifully and the “memorable date” table names were such a great idea, with Harshna & Francois’ wedding date
as the main table name.
We slipped away for a few sunset portraits while the barn was being prepared for the first dance.
Liselle – one of the owners of Gaynes Park (above) popped in later in the evening to congratulate Harshna & Francois, which I thought was a lovely touch!
